A characterful building deserves an interior to match. This two-storey beamed shophouse underwent a full turn-key renovation and completely new office design in Singapore, where it was stripped back and simplified to accentuate the building’s statement architecture. Transformed into a shared office with hosting space, the emphasis of the design is on creating an eclectic mood, with bold photographs injecting a gallery feel.

Glass-enclosed meeting rooms and rented desk space are housed on the lower floor, and here statement vintage-style hanging lights, boldly colourful cupboards and striking monochrome striped floors introduce playful touches. The upper floors accommodate the permanent companies in an informal, open-plan layout. Highlights include a chic breakout bar area with industrial-style stools and a seating nook with sumptuous velvet wingback chairs.
