Function and flair were the cornerstones of this full turn-key renovation of a traditional Singapore shophouse, preserving the beautiful architectural features while transforming it into a luxury hedge fund space that epitomises the best of office interior design.

The space was stripped back to brick and the elegant pillars and original arched windows with their exquisite stained glass were retained. Chic Crittall partitions were used to section off the office, while the existing concrete floor was polished, resulting in an eyecatching effect. As the emphasis was on creating a functional yet stylish and opulent space, break-out areas were introduced that have the air of a chic boutique hotel. Luxurious rugs delineate the spaces where button-back velvet sofas and stools evoke a sumptuous feel and gleaming metal and glass furniture exude glamour. Statement artwork injects an eclectic touch.
